NB Power New Homes Energy Savings Program

Building a new home and wanting to make it energy efficient? Not sure where to begin?

The New Home Energy Savings Program offers you professional advice to help you with these important decisions. Additionally, the program offers up to $10,000 in incentives for houses that meet certain energy efficiency targets.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

STEP 1

Register with New Home Energy Savings Program and select ThermalWiseNB as your service organization. 

STEP 2

ThermalWise will reach out to you for necessary documents. Once received, our Energy Advisor model and evaluate your building plans.

STEP 3

Review your Energy Advisor’s recommendations to improve your planned construction.

STEP 4

Build your home.

STEP 5

Complete an on-site Energy Evaluations of your home.

STEP 6

Receive your incentive. Please allow for 90 days from the date of your on-site energy evaluation.
